Volunteer Opportunities
Green Earth has many opportunities throughout the year for anyone interested in lending a helping hand.  We hold trail improvement or habitat restoration workdays the third Saturday of each month.  Workday location and more information about the project work is posted on our Schedule of Events page, generally about one week prior to each workday.

Many projects are conceived and implemented by Green Earth supporters, so don't let yourself be limited by what is on the Schedule.  If you have a trail improvement project in mind, or you are anxious to remove an invasive species encroaching along your favorite trail - just let us know.  We'll be happy to help in any way we can, from rounding up additional volunteer help to providing logistical support and tools.  Many workdays throughout the year happen because Green Earth supporters saw something they felt needed attention and contacted us.

Adopt-A-Trail Program
Green Earth started the Adopt-A-Trail program in 2006, and it has been a great success.   Trail adopters are responsible for walking the trails once a month to pick up trash, restock trail guides, and report any problems.  Many of our trail adopters go far above and beyond their required tasks and take on invasive species removal, trail upgrades, habitat improvement projects, and coordinating special workdays.
